Yoga and Meditation
Start the day each morning with a short yoga session or guided meditation from Olivia K Yoga. We are delighted to bring you yoga run online on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday morning at 7.30am for 45 minutes. The yoga sessions are suitable for all abilities and are free to attend. On Wednesday morning join us for a guided meditation session at 7.30am. Olivia has practiced yoga for many years and focuses on mindful movement inspired by nature. She completed her 200 hour vinyasa power yoga teacher training at the House of Yoga and was mentored by Steffy White Yoga. Details on how to join are in the conference programme which will be sent to all conference delegates.
Calling all Recyclists
Wherever you are, veterans and newbies, join us for a conference ride on Monday afternoon, 14 June. Undaunted by a second year without a physical conference to aim at, the Recyclists will be putting foot to pedal on Monday afternoon (Monday 14th June, the first day of conference). Those London based have decided to cycle around some of the city’s green spaces, meeting at 12.45 at Speakers’ Corner (Hyde Park), departing at 13:00, then regrouping at Swain’s Lane shops/the patch of grass by the Hampstead Heath tennis courts between 14:45-15:00 (for those attending the water working party), then heading to the top of Highgate Hill, wrapping up in good time for the evening conference session. As ever, all are welcome to join. Those based elsewhere, why not cycle and share a photo or two? For details re. joining the London ride please contact James Burton.
Join us as we watch the film Kiss the Ground together on Wednesday evening of Conference Week. Afterwards, our Chair Elect Ned Westaway will host an informal discussion of the issues raised, joined by experts James Clarke, Director, ADAS & Managing Director, ADAS Soils, Crops and Water, part of RSK Group and Hannah Thorogood, permaculture designer, teacher and farmer. Find out how to join this exclusive event in the conference programme, which will be sent to all delegates.
We are thrilled to bring you an art exhibition for the second year running, featuring original pieces by Stephen Tromans QC. The catalogue is now available.
