Young UKELA Social event

Please join us and other young professionals for our relaxed early evening session on birdsong. This presentation will take you on a digital wildlife walk as we discover the world of birdsong.

Why do birds sing, how can you tell the differences between them and what secrets could be hidden within their songs? This presentation includes wildlife photography and sound to prepare you for the warmer months of spring when the birds begin singing in earnest. Our speaker, Russ Hedley, leads the wildlife events at Nature Walks and Talks: "I have had a passion for wildlife as long as I can remember. In 2012, I set up a small business delivering wildlife educating and training. The aim was to engage with and enthuse people with my passion for nature, its beauty and the dire need to protect it for future generations."

The seminar will be followed by a virtual social for drinks and chat.  Please note this young UKELA event is aimed at those in the early years of their career post qualification. If you are a student, please look out for special student socials coming soon.
