e-law is our electronic journal and newsletter. It is sent out to all members via email every 2 months.

e-law aims to keep our members up-to-date on UKELA news and events, and informed about new law, hot topics and matters in practice. It also publishes themed articles with views on how we can develop environmental law for a better environment. We invite submissions for consideration for publication. If you would like to submit an article, please send it to the editor elaw@ukela.org. Please read out style guide first, link below.

Hayley Tam is head of Environment at LexisPSL, LexisNexis having previously worked in both the private and public sector at the Environment Agency, Allen & Overy, Stephenson Harwood and Ashurst Australia. She is qualified as an environmental lawyer in Australia, England and Wales.

Jessica Allen is currently studying Law with French and French Law at the University of Nottingham, expecting to graduate in 2017.

Lewis Hadler is currently a Legal Intern with Friends of the Earth. He graduated in law from Anglia Ruskin University in 2015 an then went on to work as a paralegal at Richard Buxton Environmental and Public Law before completing the Bar exams in 2017. Lewis has been involved with UKELA since 2015, when he began volunteering as assistant editor of UKELA's e-law publication. He is also a student adviser.
