Housing Growth and the Environment Seminar

Thursday 6 October 2016
6pm (5.30pm registration - 7.30pm
TBC CPD points
Organised by UKELA/PEBA

A joint event from UKELA and PEBA.

Join us for this early evening seminar, kindly hosted by Pinsent Masons and organised in conjunction with UKELA's Planning and Sustainable Development Working Party.

With the government having recently restated its ambition to build a million more homes, this seminar asks what this means for the environment.

How should local authorities and decision-makers approach balancing meeting housing need with protecting the environment? And how can private developers and social housing providers ensure that their proposals meet relevant requirements and standards for environmental protection?

Hear from leading planning barristers and practitioners involved in housing, its growth and planning. This seminar will be relevant to anyone with an interest in housing and planning and is aimed at all levels of expertise and experience. We look forward to seeing you there.
