A debate discussing Can digital technology protect the environment?

In association with Accounting for Sustainability

Technology and digitalisation are advancing at rapid rate, permeating all elements of society and business and reshaping existing structures. The pace of change can lead to unintended consequences and this disruption creates an opportunity for an environmental revolution. Key issues include energy consumption, the internet of things, artificial intelligence and blockchain. The Debate will look at examples of how technology and innovation can be harnessed to solve some of the major environmental challenges of our time.
