Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures: Implications for UK Businesses

Join us for this highly topical seminar from our West Midlands team.

This lunchtime seminar will be run online via the Zoom platform.

The Financial Stability Board established the TCFD to develop recommendations for more effective climate-related disclosures that could promote more informed investment, credit, and insurance underwriting decisions and, in turn, enable stakeholders to understand better the concentrations of carbon-related assets in the financial sector and the financial system’s exposure to climate-related risks.

Our two speakers, Sarah Winne from the Strategic Sustainability team at Ramboll and Nina Pindham Barrister at No 5 chambers, will be explaining the implications for UK business and the role that the Task Force has in addressing climate change.
