Experts on environmental law now available for information, quotes and legal updates

The UK Environmental Law Association (UKELA) has set up an expert panel for journalists to contact.
Subjects covered include energy, waste, business and the environment, water, flood defences, planning, international law, nuclear. With the pressures on the environment increasing and the plethora of new developments on the law, keep these contacts in mind for 2012.

Frances Aldson – co-convenor of UKELA’s planning and sustainable development working party - sustainable development, planning and EU environmental law.
Mark Brumwell – chair of UKELA since March 2011 and a partner at Dundas and Wilson. Conventional and renewable energy, flood defence, contaminated land, waste, water, planning, compulsory purchase and highways.
Catherine Davey – a solicitor and consultant specialising in planning, contaminated land, waste, CPO's, highways, and water (including flooding).
Angus Evers – convenor of UKELA’s waste working party and partner and head of the environment group at S.J. Berwin – waste issues generally
Begonia Filgueira – a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and a Spanish abogada. International environmental law, earth rights, wild law, European environmental law and Spanish law.
Stephen Hockman QC – co-convenor of UKELA’s climate change and energy working party - international environment court, climate change and energy
