Norfolk Coastwise event with UKELA East
Coastwise and UKELA East are inviting UKELA members to come to the North Norfolk coast to visit an area where coastal erosion is a challenge and to learn about some of the solutions which are being taken forward. In-person / North Norfolk. Timings: tbc
The morning will start with presentations at Cromer Pier, which will include a talk by the Coastwise lawyer about her legal research and analysis of the current law and policy alongside the gaps and issues she has identified in relation to successful coastal adaptation and transition by communities, infrastructure and businesses. The presentations will be followed by a visit along the coast to see the impacts of coastal erosion and some examples of how this can be mitigated.
