Our Convenors' biographies
Helen Mitcheson is an environmental and planning solicitor at Trowers & Hamlins. Prior to becoming a solicitor Helen worked as an environmental consultant and environmental scientist. She has experience advising clients on a range of environmental issues including environmental impact assessments for onshore and offshore developments in many jurisdictions, onshore and offshore permitting requirements, transactional support and regulatory obligations. She also has a particular interest in the relationship between science and law.
Charlotte Scrivens is an environmental lawyer at Addleshaw Goddard LLP, based in their Manchester office. She advises on all aspects of environmental compliance, risks and liabilities and assists her colleagues in advising on complex regulatory regimes such as REACH, environmental permitting, waste classifications, and contaminated land. Charlotte also advises and represent a number of clients under regulatory investigation and advise on enforcement options including voluntary undertakings and civil sanctions.
