Join us for the UKELA Conference 2026, bring together leading experts, practitioners, and policymakers, to discuss critical issues shaping environmental law today. The programme features five dynamic plenary sessions covering:

  • Water Resources in 2026 - problems and solutions;
  • Balancing Net Zero ambitions and nature recovery;
  • New Towns: Implications for the environment;
  • The rise of group litigation; and
  • International opinions and their application to the UK.

Alongside two Keynote speakers: Craig Bennett OBE and Monica Feria-Tinta; we are also thrilled to offer 10 early career members the opportunity to speak at Conference on topics of their choice.

Following last year’s successful in-person conference last year in Bristol, we are delighted to invite you to the UKELA Conference in June 2026. This year we head to the West Midlands, to the University of Warwick, for a fully campus-based, in-person conference. Set within expansive green space and designed to bring people together, The Slate - the university’s flagship conference venue, offers state-of the art facilities for exhibitors and plenary sessions, overlooking the campus lake. It is a calm and welcoming setting for learning, discussion and networking.

Conference week starts with online sessions 16-17 June 2026, followed by an in-person gathering at the University of Warwick beginning with Next Generation BBQ on Thursday 18 June ahead of an action packed programme on 19-20 June including Friday evening dinner.

Unable to join us in Warwickshire? Do not worry, all plenary sessions will be live-screened for remote viewing - book an Online ticket.
